Our handmade Organic Amish Moses Baskets are made of renewable source hard wood found here in the USA. The wood we use is from a renewable forrest the USA. The entire basket which includes our basket and bedding has never been imported and every part is made by hand! It is the only basket that has never been imported (no harmful sprays have ever been in contact with your basket which often can occur in the importing of baskets into the U.S.) It’s also a beautiful heirloom!

Also, make certain to see details of their basket - up close pictures of the bedding as well as the futon and other components. Unfortunately, they offer only a small pad in place of an actual futon for the baby (you can actually make a ball from it!). We offer a 2 inch firm mattress for your baby. Please also be sure to see up close pictures of their stands. Many are from China and the wood is of very poor quality and not sturdy. They also use plastic and harmful, toxic glues. We also custom create an organic nursery to match your basket. Natural organic sateen, white sateen and other designer organic fabrics are available! This includes crib bedding and many other nursery items. If you use a sling to put your baby to sleep in, simply slip off and place the baby in the basket in the sling and rock gently. I’ve done this with our babies and they stay sleeping comfortably.
